How Do You Think of Unwanted Guests?

without comments

A Said:

Well, guests are nuisance when they go beyond the line. I mean I have never liked unwanted guests. I do not feel at ease when there are outsiders, I mean the guest at home. I have to change my ways of actions, do this, do that, war an artificial smile all the while and what not. I have to act in the way that does not displease them.
Specially I hate guests when they rush into with kids and pets and settle for a week or so.
How about you? What is your take on unwanted guests?
please share.

B Said:

I’ve never had that kind of unwanted guests. If someone were to come to my house to spend a week with PETS, especially, without asking, they’d be shown the door. I don’t allow pets in my house, not even mine or my kids (who are grown). The only guests I have that might spend a week is my grandkids during the summer. They spend many weeks during the summer, going home for the weekends. They come over to ride their 4 and 3 wheelers, play pool in the basement, and help Papa do the yard work to earn cash.

Choices Between Beauty and Brains

without comments

A Said:

I think it would really be a tough question if you would only be given one choice to choose from. I think it would prefer brains more. I think some people would get turned off even how beautiful a person is knowing that the person doesnt have brains. I think i could bare just having brains alone because i know that people doesn’t only get attracted to the physical appearance of a person but they get attracted more to his/her character/personality. I have watched some beauty contest and sometimes i observed some contestants to be attractive but i think they mostly get challenged to the question and answer portion because that is usually the part of the contest where a most of them fail.
I think it would really be nice to have both if it would be possible. hehe. But i think having brains isn’t really that hard because i believe geniuses are either born or made.
How about you?
Do you agree with this too?
Which would you prefer to have? Beauty or Brains? ..

A said:

In the early morning the mind is fresh and it is fine to have such a freshness. So, we can do much work in the early morning when compared to evening. There is perfect calm in the early morning. We are not distracted by noise and bustle and we have lot of problems. So, we can easily concentrate our attention on what we are doing.Henceforth it is decided to have such issues than that of anything. If we get up in the early morning, we can finish our work in good time. We can go to bed before midnight and enjoy sound sleep.
If we rise early we can take some physical exercise as well as better air in the fresh morning air. This exercise will improve our health and supply us with a fund of energy that will enable us to do our work during day and it also gives you wonderful respiration forever.

If you died at home, how long would it be before anyone knew?

with 2 comments

A Said:

I was wondering that this morning. I live alone with my two dogs and my children are 1800 miles away. I know my neighbors casually but since they have jobs, no one sees me regularly. My sister emails me sometimes but she’s busy with her own life, again many hundreds of miles away. I go to church sometimes but not regularly enough so that anyone knows me.

I think it would be many days, if not weeks, before someone discovered I died. What about you? Would someone discover your body right away or would it lie there for a long time, like mine?

B Said:

Don’t be so dark, don’t you have anyone who’d call you on a regular basis?
I know for sure I’d get a call from my work the same day, they’d call back the next day but I have no idea how long it would take someone to go and check on me. I have good friends but they are out of town often and we don’t see each other every week. My mom would very worried if I didn’t call her for a long time but she’s in another country…All and all,I’d be probably decomposing by then

When people disagree with you, what will you do?

without comments

A said:

Ive started a certain discussion in which somebody does not like me or my discussion and disagrees with me strongly, but with language I would not like to use, like you make me sick, or puke etc. I usually tend to ignore such comments and go on, for each is entitled to their opinion. However there are ways and ways to disagree without going dirty. I strongly want to write back and tell them so, but it will only create an open war of words and I dont want mylot to become a sounding board for words of war. So I feel I should let go. Have I done right? What would be your reaction to such phrases?

B Said:

I actually think you did the right. It was good of you to let it go. You would just play right into their hand if you stooped down to that person’s level and started replying with similar comments. It would just drag everything and make things more unpleasant. People like that should be ignored.

I haven’t had to deal with something like that on here but I dealt with a somewhat similar situation at work the other day. Some girl decided to attack me verbally for no reason at all. She was causing quite a scene too. I was very, very pissed off and so badly wanted to tell her off but refrained from doing so. I wasn’t going to lower myself and have a shouting match with some immature teenager.
