For January 2008
by Joe on Jan.31, 2008, under Diary
Form school to home, the weather is getting colder and colder, yeah, i’m talking about January 2008. The most concerned topic for us to discuss recently is the cold weather, heavy snow has been sweeping the central, eastern and southwestern parts of the country and rain in south, it’s so cold in north that buses and rails can not even work, thousands of people were stuck and wouldn’t go home to enjoy the most important holidays for Chinese people: the Lunar New Year.
Tragedies happened, and i think, should we blame on our human beings? I mean, global warming, climate change, all because of human activities, i believe, the next so called “the heaviest snow in 50 years” would again shows up in 10 years if we continue destorying our planet earth.

I’d been worrying about the result of BECV, and last night, the BEC’s official website announced the result, and i’ve got myself a C grade, no surprise, no excitement, i don’t know why… Then i sent an email to my BEC teacher, expressed my gratefulness and thank him as a teacher also as a friend for the efforts he made, thanks.
What comforts me is the speed to solve a cube has improved, best time: 45.21s, ten times average: 52.84s. Compare to a month ago “best 1m32s“, really is a great progress. Therefore, i brought a R4 (Rubik’s 4×4×4). See the picture above.
*To Ciney*, i was told that she didn’t pass BECV and i want to say, it mean nothing you can’t pass the test, you’re the best! Cheer up!
Still In Holidays
by Joe on Oct.05, 2007, under Diary
After 4 days of staying at dorm, i got accompany again – a roommate back from Guangzhou who had sufferred from the bad traffic conditions durning his staying in Guangzhou. There’re two, however, will not show up until tomorrow.
Also tomorrow, probably i have to hand the computer back to the owner, so there’ll be a conclusion about what i’ve done in the pass 6 days. First, results of the games i’ve mentioned – Resident Evil 4 and Need for Speed Carbon weren’t to my satisfaction, but i did prefer Need for Speed to RE4, the career mode in the game was finished in less than 12 hours, and that never happened to me, you know, i love games, but i’m not a good player, however, you might think 12 hours is still damn too long for you to play such kind of games. By the way, i also played a game named Warcraft through LAN with my friends next doors and have joys while we were playing, after playing, we have same topic about the games to discuss, which was more likely a team building  The second thing i’ve done is like always, write some posts here in this blog for my own living, not much, but if you change into CNY, it’s almost a week’s expenses for me to eat and drink for just one or two posts a week, i’m sure the continuing growth of my blog can even create more profits, but there’s a long way to go still.
Leave the rest, you won’t like it.
10·1 National Day Holidays
by Joe on Sep.29, 2007, under Diary
For most of you, Chinese National Day is still two days away, but for me, from today’s on, till October 7, are what i called holidays. I went home last National Day because of the date of moon festival was durning the holidays, and we all know that this year’s moon festival had just passed, so there’s no reason for me to spend about two days to go and back from home.
Talking about this year’s moon festival, nothing special actually, but our college has a good tradition that is the college will give you the something to drink, to eat for free of cause, to make you feel at home. No exception, a moon cake, beverage, an apple and a pear were given to every living person who spending their festivals in campus. Though these sweet stuff are not expensive, but at least the head of the college management think of us, at least they fullfill our basic needs to celebrate the festival, at least they know what moon festival means to a Chinese. As far as i know, no college even the college next door provide such kind of “offers” but ours, so if your college have such kind of “policies”, please let me know
I took my friend’s computer back to dorm, besides, two games are being downloaded, one is called Resident Evil 4(My Bro. said it was really an exciting game), another is called Need for Speed Carbon(My favorite race game, and i love race very much, even though i don’t have a real car), so there’ll be definitely an interesting holiday.
24 – Another American TV Show
by Joe on Aug.04, 2007, under Diary
Last week, my Bro. back home had a relax coz he was ill. According what my Bro. said, doctors in GZ sucks, injection is the only way they use to treat patients and that kind of treatment doesn’t work to him; therefore, he decided to had a relax at home, at that time, my parents were both having their holidays in Beijing, so movies were the only entertainments for us both to spent our time.
Watching 24 was my Bro.’s idea, actually i feel sick of the American TV shows, the reason is because they all seem endless. I’ve seen Prison Break (started from here) – 2 seasons, Lost – 3 seasons, Stargates – 10 seasons! I admit that i like to watch those tv shows, coz they’re really great, and easy to get yourself addicted to it. But what i couldn’t bear is the long period of waiting for the release of the new seasons. Lost for example, its season3 ended in March, but you have to wait nearly a year for the next season. Sometimes I’m just wondering how a tv show director like Stargates’ can direct a tv show for such a long time, more than ten years. Doesn’t they want to end the stories?
Anyway, i’m hook on 24 now, let me finish watching the seasons that already released, after that, i don’t care when will the next season came out. Coz, it seems only one idividual story per season (actuall i’m not sure…) so i don’t have to watch it season by season.
Home Again
by Joe on Jul.12, 2007, under Diary
As always, i go home on holidays, the difference is that this time i took lots of my stuff back including clothing and books, just for the convience of graduation packaging next year. I thought i could play my computer as usual, online, gaming and watching movies, but after about 10 minutes after i started the computer, it crashed. Bought in 2001, along with me for over 6 years, we’ve been through a lot. And, it can’t be fixed this time. Rest and peace, my friend, i’ll be missing you.

First, let me introduce something about Jiuzhoushuihui, Jiuzhoushuihui provides 24 hours services, mainly are the watered activities, include swimming pool, hot spring, cold spring, Sauna, gym, table tennis and many other things which have the strange names. They also provide one free buffet dinner, a cup of drink, several pieces of fruit
